I love Tuesdays!

Coffee on the beach with my dogs, after Yoga!

What a great way to start the day!

Book 3 finished for 2018.

Followed by breakfast in my garden.
Writing a quick blog (I love my blog).
Meditation.
Then lots of herbal tea while reading.

It's almost my prefect day...if it's not too windy when Johnno has finished work, we might get a fish in together = prefect!

I am creating a shady garden space to read in.

What about the rest of the week?
Well despite what some people believe, I do actually work some times, life isn't always one big holiday...but I am working on that!  My works casual and rostered, so I am never really that sure which days I will be working, I have been lucky enough to have Tuesdays and Weekends off regularly, which makes me very happy!

When not at work during the week, I do more of all the above: gardening, fishing, beach, reading, exercise of some sort (1hour a day, not 5 like I used to!).

Last night: Monday, I Kegged my first beer!  Last two brews have ended up in bottles.  We finally got all the right fittings for the keg and gas, pretty excited to see how that turns out!

And I dyed my hair...ash blonde!  Growing it out a little bit for something different, so had to get a between colour to take away the regrowth look.  I'm sure it will not take too long before it is back to short and blonde!

My latest Brew has just gone into a keg!
I loved the name, hopes it's as good as the fish!
New colour: Ash Blonde??

I love the weekends too!

Friday, Saturday & Sunday are also my favourite days!  Plenty of time with Johnno, fishing and beer drinking.

Friday night is cooking night: food for on the boat.
Saturday's fishing adventure!
We had a great day on the water Saturday just gone, caught heaps of little Trevalley.

I usually use poppers when lure fishing, but when we moved into slightly deeper water I put on this shallow diver.  First cast of this brand new lure, hooked a little Blue Bone.  It all happened so fast I hardly remember it going in, one quick flick from the fish and suddenly I was screaming my head off.  Mostly because I was concerned about the fish still being attached and how horribly that could end for my thumb!
Johnno is a bloody hero!!  It is not the first time he has had to think and act fast to save the day!  He quickly released the fish without any more damage to me, but then the realisation set in...past the barb, what to do?  What ever we do it was going to hurt.  He is so bloody professional!
Holding my hand steady on the eski, me looking away, screaming my head off mostly just as a distraction for myself, he took a split second to push the hook down, making a whole for the barb and pulled it straight out.  I was super impressed!
I jumped up in delight...I think Johnno thought I was going to punch him, but no I was screaming with delight this time!  I felt a tiny rip as it came out, that was it.  So clean and neat.  Then the throbbing started, but nothing to worry about.  I iced it and kept fishing. 😋

Thanks Johnno, I love fishing with you!
